Service Learning Trips

Service Learning Trips offer an opportunity for larger groups, such as universities, high schools, tour groups, and church missions, to learn about sustainable community development projects, ethical and culturally sensitive international development, debates around child welfare and how they influence our model, and/or experience pure cultural immersion experiences. We can also coordinate extras like hiking to the nearby waterfall, overnight homestays, coffee tours, jewelry classes, and canoeing at Lake Duluti. We recommend a stay of at least 3 days to benefit from everything The Small Things has to offer, and to allow for larger groups to cycle through activities. Requested donations will depend on the number of participants, length of stay, and accommodation options, and every dollar will go back into creating pathways to bright futures for the children and families of Nkoaranga!
