Interns and Fellows
We have several internship and fellowship positions that are available on a rolling basis, for a minimum of 3 months. Interns work primarily supporting existing staff, and will learn from experienced professionals in the field. Fellows are expected to create a cohesive project, and are expected to be self-directed with occasional staff support. Both generally have a higher level of specialized education than our regular volunteers, and are likely to spend significant time in the office as well as in the field. Their costs are the same as those for volunteers, although exceptions may be possible for some fellowship candidates.
Designed for those with teaching and ESL qualifications, this internship involves one-to-one tutoring with TST staff and children to improve their English and academics, as well as support and professional development for the Tanzanian English teacher.
